Human Rights Violations

As an employee in Ontario, the Ontario Human Rights Code protects you against harassment and discrimination on protected grounds (ex. ethnicity, sex, age, etc.). Harassment and discrimination can take many forms, including sexual harassment or discrimination due to an employer’s failure to accommodate an employee who is unable to execute their job because of their religious affiliation or disability. If you are experiencing harassment or discrimination, you have the right to file a complaint with the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO).

Before filing a complaint under the Human Rights Code, it is critical that you seek independent legal advice. At Enable Legal Services, we represent employees before the HRTO and will effectively advocate on your behalf. Our unique background in both HR and legal services allows us to expertly navigate you through the process of a workplace harassment or discrimination claim.
